Book Review: Creature from the Black Lagoon: Time's Black Lagoon

Creature from the Black Lagoon: Time's Black Lagoon by Paul Di Filippo This book has been sitting in my pile of books to read for some time. After I bought it, I didn't think I'd like it so it stayed at the bottom of my pile. However, I have to say that I wish I had picked this one up sooner. The Creature from the Black Lagoon has been revisited and Paul Di Filippo does an excellent job at writing the new spin. It's about time travel and the origin of the Creature and setting things right. The story is a little sticky in the beginning and has a tough getting started but if you can get through the first hundred pages you'll certainly be rewarded with a great middle and finish. The timing of this book is probably good since there has been commitments to remaking the original film. Grab a copy and add it to your book collection.
