Vamps

7/29/10 - Richard Lewis will join the romantic horror comedy Vamps, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Amy Heckerling has written and will direct the project, which stars Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter as New York socialite vampires whose freewheeling lifestyles are tripped up when blood is pumped into their romantic lives. Sigourney Weaver also stars as the queen vamp who turned them into creatures of the night.  Lewis will play a former student activist who works as an ACLU lawyer. Shooting begins next month in Detroit.

 

3/17/10 - Sigourney Weaver will act as a vampire queen in Vamps, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Directed by Amy Heckerling, the modern-day story focuses on beautiful young vampires (Alicia Silverstone, Krysten Ritter) who are living the good nightlife in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality.  Weaver will play Ciccerus, the bloodthirsty vampire who turned the two ladies into creatures of the night.

 

2/11/10 - Alicia Silverstone will reunite with director Amy Heckerling on Vamps, a vampire romantic comedy about two modern-day female vampires living the good life in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality.
